Block the enemy's line of action. Bring them out one by one—or simply avoid them. Noise will attract attention, and here, being noticed usually doesn’t lead to anything good. **Explore the research complex** Abandoned office. Medical facilities. A closed laboratory. The dark warehouse. There is also an underground parking lot where the engine has not sounded for a long time. Along the way, you will face: plot missions and optional targets; infected areas and restricted areas; traps and security systems that are still in operation; a limited number of weapons and resources; enemies that behave in different ways; hidden supplies and equipment; and choices that may show consequences later. There are very few safe routes left. Perhaps from the beginning, there was no safe route at all. **When you have no other choice, fight.** Use firearms, melee combat, and tactical movement to deal with threats. Dodge the attack. Control the distance. Use the surrounding environment while always keeping an eye on your back. Some enemies will ambush you out of the darkness, while others will try to surround you. The most dangerous enemies will wait until you waste ammunition or let your guard down. Sometimes, you have a few seconds to make a decision. Sometimes, it’s just one second. **Death is also part of the journey.** Died? Then just start over. You may lose almost everything, but you will still retain the most important wealth: experience and knowledge. Now, you remember where the trap was hidden, which door there was an ambush behind, and which battle should have been avoided. Every time you try, you become more cautious.
