A dark-themed, first-person forging game with light rogue-like elements. Swinging the hammer sends the longsword’s value skyrocketing; using a relic to alter the odds, then staking everything on the next strike. Forging charges trigger the "Enter the Divine" effect, allowing you to exchange your precious sword for relics and unleash powerful chain reactions. The more you strike it, the higher its value, but the greater the risk of shattering. Satisfy the dragon’s tribute demands, or face its wrath. With a single hammer blow, one’s worth skyrockets. One more hammer blow, and it might be nothing but scrap metal. ForgeTax is a dark-themed, first-person, light-Rogue game. You will play as a blacksmith imprisoned by a dragon, forging longswords, using relics to alter probabilities, and surviving by enduring wave after wave of tributes. Use a hammer to strike out good fortune—heat the sword and place it on the anvil. Each success will send its value soaring, but a single greedy extra tap could shatter it on the spot. Forging the same sword 10 times will fill the "Absorbed" meter; the next strike will trigger it. While this unbreakable moment lasts, hammer away to your heart’s content. Abandoning the longsword, the constructed chain relic vending machine doesn’t accept money—it accepts swords instead. With each relic acquired, one less sword remains to be offered to the dragon. By altering the draw tickets, you can create wondrous combinations that elevate the value of an ordinary longsword to absurd heights. Build a deck around luck, or let luck work for your deck. The dragon is waiting to place the sword on the sacrificial altar and ring the bell. If you meet the requirements, you can return to the anvil and continue forging. When the tribute is insufficient, the colossal creature behind the iron bars will lose some of its patience. What you leave behind, what you give, and when you lay down your hammer—all are up to you. To offer tribute to the giant dragon. Forge your revenge.
